Coach Chacon has been coaching basketball at Schurr High School for 5 years, during which time he has led his teams to three League Championships in 2020, 2021, and 2023. His coaching has helped two of his former athletes to compete at the collegiate level, showcasing his ability to develop talent and prepare players for the next level.

One of his proudest moments in his coaching career was achieving back-to-back league championships in 2020-2021 and leading his team to a perfect 10-0 record as undefeated league champions in 2023. 

Outside of coaching, Coach Chacon enjoys spending time in Parks & Recreation and playing golf. He attributes his success to the unwavering support and encouragement of his wife, Margie, who has been by his side throughout his coaching journey. With a passion for the game and a dedication to his players' success, Coach Chacon continues to inspire and lead his team to greatness on and off the basketball court.
