Coach Gonzalez brings commitment to the holistic development of young athletes both on and off the field. While embarking on his inaugural year coaching at Schurr High School, he leads with a wealth of experience garnered during his tenure at LA Wilson HS and as a coach at FC Golden State U11.

During his coaching career, Coach Gonzalez has led his teams to two CIF runner-up finishes, two CIF semifinals appearances, and victories in prestigious tournaments such as the Sofive Man City Cup and the Fullerton Rangers Summer Challenge Cup. His coaching has also helped several of his former athletes continue their soccer careers at the collegiate level, playing for schools like ELAC, El Camino, and Cerritos. 

Some standout moments from Coach Gonzalez's coaching career include a memorable victory against powerhouse Marshall at their home field and a thrilling comeback win after being down 3-0 in the first 10 minutes of a game. These achievements highlight his ability to motivate and inspire his players to achieve their full potential.

Outside of coaching, Coach Gonzalez enjoys spending time with his family, taking his two boys to sporting events and Disneyland, as well as playing video games and going on bike rides. Family is incredibly important to Coach Gonzalez, and he credits them for their unwavering support throughout his coaching journey. With his passion for the sport and dedication to his players, Coach Gonzalez continues to make a positive impact in the lives of young athletes.
